PSYCHOANALYTIC THERAPIST & RELATIONSHIP CONSULTANT

People and circumstances change, and so do relationships. As a couple or as individuals we deal with such changes, often at inconvenient times. However, these changes, difficult as they may be, can be highly beneficial for the development and growth of the couple when they are timely and appropriately addressed.

Professional counseling or consulting at such times can help regain lost contact, improve communication, overcome disagreements, help better understand each other and each others' expectations, ultimately overcoming the crisis and improving the quality of the relationship.

I will be happy to support you during uncertain transitional periods and help you find inner resources to deal with the changes, empowering your relationship growth.

Greetings!
My name is Boris Herzberg and I am a psychoanalytic therapist and relationship consultant working online
My approach

For more than a decade I've been working with and around relationships as a consultant, coach and therapist. I provide sessions that help couples and individuals come to terms with their relationship to each other and self and explore new ways of living and being within a relationship.

You can expect an empathetic, accommodating and non-judgmental approach, as my personal experience is in line with my professional practice, making it easier to understand couples from different backgrounds and places, including international families, long-distance relationships and expats.

I am trained in the psychoanalytic psychodynamic paradigm, which helps uncover the hidden underlying dynamics of relationships. Additionally, I specialize in coaching which employs a more direct and proactive approach. That said, I would describe my helping approach as integrative and adaptive, as I see each person as a unique being and thus work in a holistic way - with people, not with problems.
